AI Adoption Strategy FAQs for Professional Services
Clear, honest answers to help you decide whether — and how — AI adoption makes sense in your specific context.
What results can I expect?
Following the Core Mandated Process Phase 1 assessment & alignement, leaders leave with clear direction on what to pursue, what to defer, and what not to do at all.
You can expect:
- Visibility into current exposure and risk
- Clear direction on what should and should not do be done with AI
- A sequenced path forward that creates momentum
- Technology, security, and governance practices to implement
Not hype. Not tool sprawl.
Clarity, direction, readiness.
How is this different from a typical AI consultant?
Most consultants arrive with tools.
I arrive with questions.
I examine your short-to-medium-term business objectives, your AI ambitions, your current technology stack, how your people are already using AI, and where friction may be quietly forming.
This process is about alignment — with your present reality and with where you intend to go.
When the right questions are asked and answered honestly, the direction — and what to do next — becomes obvious.
That clarity is the difference.
What problem are you really solving?
The real problem is: how do we adopt AI without creating hidden exposure, internal confusion, or reputational risk?
Better questions lead to better outcomes.
How much does it cost?
You can start with the no-cost AI Adoption Clarity Diagnostic; a self-serve, 10-question assessment with a written brief emailed in minutes. If deeper assessment is warranted, the Assessment and Strategy Mandate (Core AI Adoption Process) is scoped afterwards.
The Core AI Adoption Process for most organizations, which includes the initial Phase 1 assessment and Phase 2 recommendations, typically falls between $10-15K. This invested work focuses on structured analysis, decision framing, and a clear set of recommendations or a roadmap, not implementation.
The AI Integration Program is competitively priced at $15K which includes custom questionnaires, governance, technical and security briefings, a personalized Masterclass ChatGPT 6-module training, and either a formal governance policy or customized workflows.
For leaders who want targeted support outside of a formal assessment, 1:1 sessions are available at $225 per hour.
How long does this take?
The first step, the AI Adoption Clarity Diagnostic, takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. You receive a written Clarity Brief emailed to you in minutes.
Further phases, such as comprehensive assessments or strategic planning, are scoped to your schedule and objectives. But typically, Phase 1 and 2 of the Core AI Adoption Process can be done within 6 weeks.
Do we need to buy new tools?
Often no. I leverage your existing stack where possible and add only what’s essential. The goal is better signal, not more software.
How do you handle privacy, ethics, and risk?
I operate privacy-first and ethics-forward. I generally provide security, technical, and governance briefings; governance policies and employee handbooks; as well as AI ethics and data security training. All include:
- Clear data handling and consent patterns.
- Bias-aware prompts and review loops.
- Human-in-the-loop checkpoints for sensitive work.
- Tool selection that aligns with your security requirements.
How “ready” are we really for AI?
Readiness is not binary. Many professional services organizations are partway through adoption without realizing it. This process helps you understand your readiness in practical terms, anchored in organizational governance, risk posture, and capacity — not buzzwords.
Will AI replace roles on our team?
My work focuses on augmentation, not replacement. AI handles repetitive tasks and surfaces insight; your people handle judgment, relationships, and creativity. That combination wins.
Why should we act now?
Because decisions are already being made.
Even inaction is a strategic choice.
Unstructured AI usage expands quietly.
Clarity today is less expensive than correction tomorrow.
Whether you act now, later, or decide not to proceed, clarity is still required. The earlier that decision is made deliberately, the easier it is to manage risk, expectations, and downstream consequences.
How do we get started?
